U.S. Immigration and Ancestry Instruments

This website provides instruments for country-to-county immigration and country-level ancestry data in the United States. It also provides the transitions from historical counties to 1990 counties that are used in generating the instruments. Our papers, referenced below, provide details on how each instrument is constructed.
